Metalman
Auto (P) Ltd. established in the year 1986 to
manufacture sheet metal and tubular components.
The first plant in Pithampur started production
in 1989. A wide variety of components mainly
tubular components like Side Bumpers, Spare
Wheel Carrier, Handles etc were manufactured
for KINETIC HONDA which is a leading manufacturer
of two wheelers. A new shed was made at the
same location for fabrication of auto parts
like Handles, Front Fork of scooters and mopeds.
This plant which had a state of an art electroplating
unit, catered to market needs for electroplating
jobs. Keeping in view, the auto industry boom
and meet customer requirements and schedule,
Metalman Auto (p) Ltd. established another unit
in Pithampur by the name AUTOMAN which began
production in 1996. This unit specially catered
to Kinetic Motors for their new range of scooters,
and specialized in making front fork, handle
bars and also Eicher Motors for their requirement
of different sheet metal & tubular components
like accelerator assembly, foot board, gear
shifter etc. for their Light commercial and
Heavy Commercial vehicles.
In
1998, with an investment of Rs. 10 crores, group
established another plant in Waluj, Mahrashtra.
This unit which is known by the name Metalman
Auto Ltd, Waluj was set up to cater the needs
of Bajaj Auto Ltd., leading OEM for Motorcycles
and Scooters. This plant manufactures various
sheet metal and tubular components which include
handle bar, leg guard, saree guard and specialized
products like motorcycle chassis.
Other
Sister Concerns :
National Industries (formerly known as N.E Fine
Chemicals) was established in 1976 for electroplating
and metal finishing job work for bicycle and
auto industries. Apart from this, National Industries
was the first plant of the group to develop
and manufacture effluent treatment plant for
Nickel Chrome Plating industry which not only
treats effluent but recover precious metal also.
Campbell International was set up in 1992 for
100% export of light engineering products on
behalf of group of OEM’s. Initially the
product range covered Bicycles & Components
and catered to OEM factories/ Assemblers of
Bicycles.
